Clubs & Activities
The Senior High Student Council is made up of multiple individuals between the grades of 9-12 . An opportunity for students to grow their leadership skills and take on responsibilitys. Students create fun activitys, such as our anual slip and slide, pie eatting contests and more. Students also serve the school in various ways from school athletic concessions to artistic murals in the stairwell.
The Junior High Student Council is a team of dedicated grade 7 and 8 students who want to get involved in creating a positive school atmosphere. They take on a leadership role amongst the student body and are responsible for a variety of things, including planning special activities, including candy grams at Valentine’s Day and classroom decorating contests at Christmas.
The Journal Games Team (Division 2). Journal Games is an indoor sprint relay competition that takes place at the UofA Butterdome. It is open to all schools within the City of Edmonton. Each school enters either individual sprinters or a relay team to compete in the Games. We are hoping to enter 2 boys and 2 girls relay teams with 8 runners on each team this year.
Cross Country Running was participated in by sixty students this year from grades 4-12. Students participated in various components depending on their goals including: to increase fitness levels, to train for a sport, to compete in running, to raise awareness for social issues, to socialize in the context of a constructive activity.
