Music and Band

ELEMENTARY

Kindergarten has music once per week.

Grades 1-6 have 2 music classes per week

Elementary students have the opportunity to learn: 

  • ukulele starting in grade 2
  • soprano recorder starting in grade 4
  • alto and tenor recorder in grade 5 and 6
  • worship band instruments in grade 5 and 6 

Grade 6 students have the option to choose music or band (band students will perform in a spring concert along with the junior high band)

JUNIOR HIGH BAND

Grade 7-9 students may choose band as an option. They perform a spring concert with the 6th grade band class and also have the opportunity to participate in a 3 day band tour in second semester.
